Christmas Ornaments

To continue the Miersma family Christmas tradition, we were given a bag of craft supplies at Thanksgiving to create an ornament. Not JUST any 'ol ornament, but one that signified our year. This was the first year we were handed 3 baggies. (Not a big deal...it's when you've got 3-4 kiddos that it becomes a big deal!)
So, for our latest addition to our family, Tessa's ornament was her in her pouch. She loves hanging out in this thing! I sewed an exact rendition of the one we have. :) On her body I wrote all her birth stats...actually, I don't know if we ever shared them with you guys.

If you're wondering:
Tessa Joy Fieldhouse was born at 12:56 p.m. on April 21, 2007 at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital. Weighed in at 7 pounds 11 oz. and 22 1/2 inches long.

Mark was very ambitious this year and literally built a double BOB stroller (just like the ones you've seen on our past posts). This signified Mark's year in that he became a dad...hence being part of the stroller market, and the double BOB because of our Craigslist "wheeling & dealings" this year. By the way, Mark received the BEST overall ornament prize this year! His hard work paid off. :)

My ornament was a smaller version of my breastpump. This has been a huge part of my year, seeing how I'm hook up to this thing 4ish times a day. We're tight. :) Actually, it's mine now as of this past month. I guess if you rent things for a certain amount of time it becomes your very own...sweet. Anyone want to borrow a Medela Lactina?
