Before and After...so far

God knew from the very beginning what Tessa would look like from birth all the way to age 1.
Three surgeries later, our little girl has an upper lip. It's amazing the drastic change that took place! We are very pleased with Dr. Wells' work. :) Tessa got her tape off today and the new lip was revealed! It's been so much fun showing off her new smile. :)

Here she is BEFORE:

And AFTER:

Here are some close-ups...

...and a SUPER close-up!

Amazing, Allison. Just awesome! Really, though, it's all about those eyes! They're like big Michigan blueberries.

Hey Mark and Allison- Don't know if you remember me, but Ben and I travelled to Israel with you guys a few summers ago. I check your blog religiously and I just wanted to let you know that I think about and pray for you guys often. Tessa is such a beautiful baby. She has such beautiful eyes among another of fantastic features. The doctors have done a tremendous job. May you continue to take faith, knowing the He has her in His hands.

She looks beautiful. But, as I did, I am sure you are missing her "wide smile".

I wish you continued luck with the recovery. Our little one has surgery #3 in a couple of weeks-please keep us in your prayers.
