More Surgery Pictures

Such a big girl...20lbs, 8oz
Even Daddy sleeps better with Lamby :)
Tessa in her hospital bed (side-note...I got kicked out of this bed last night after falling asleep next to her. You could say that I felt pretty dumb when they said that it had to do with the weight limit. Of course, why didn't I think of that???)
Out for a wagon ride to help the time go by more quickly. Tessa get a bit stir-crazy being cooped up in one place for a long period of time. We can't imagine what it would be like to be a little person stuck in the hospital for weeks on end! It seems like every roommate we ever have has had it where they have been in the hospital for weeks/months! Praise God for good health!
Home at last! Doctors orders say that Tessa needs to sleep in her car seat for a few weeks so she doesn't damage her lip. We have been much more cautious this time around with her "no-nos" and making sure that her hands stay out of her face.
Pumpkin saw her face in the mirror after we got home...she wasn't too happy with her reflection (poor thing!)
We got discharged from the hospital today at 10:30 a.m., home by 11:30a.m. Man, it sure is nice to be in your own environment! Nice to see that Tessa is able to crawl around in her "no-nos", this girl has been so active ever since getting home!
Please pray that she starts to eat. We think she's eaten MAYBE a bottle since her surgery.
Thanks, we'll continue to keep you updated with what's going on.
Her post-op follow up is on Friday afternoon.
