A BRAND NEW LIP!!!!!!!
Yes, that's right, we head for the hospital tomorrow morning at 5:30 a.m. just in time for Tessa's 7:30 a.m. surgery. If you are awake and thinking about us, please pray for the surgery to go well. Dr. Wells is going to take apart the whole upper lip and create a "flush" lip by connecting the muscle, tissue, & skin.
We will be in the hospital for 1-2 nights depending on how the little champ recovers. :)
Please pray for Tessa's comfort. As she gets older the surgery recovery gets more difficult, we have a mover & shaker on our hands and that's what she's going to want to do...move & shake.
AND, it doesn't help that she's starting to teethe.
So, Mark and I have a peace about tomorrow. God is in control and His hand has been in this journey since the beginning. Tessa has been fearfully & wonderfully made (whether that's how God created her or how God works through Dr. Wells to continue His masterpiece).
