We Be Jammin'!

Ok, I want to start this post off by saying that we found the best deal EVER on raspberries this Sunday...$1.00/6 oz. Unbelievable! So, I mentioned this Sunday night at church and the ladies decided to make freezer jam during our usual Bible Study time on Monday. Here are some pictures of us being domestic...

Directions for Freezer Jam:

Mash 2 cups of raspberries, add 4 cups of sugar, stir them together and let set for 10 minutes. In a separate bowl combine 1 pouch of SURE-JELL and 2 T. of fresh lemon juice. After the 10 minutes, add all the ingrediants together and stir for 3 minutes. Pour into clean jars and make sure to leave 1/2 inch space from the top for expansion during freezing; cover. Let it stand (or sit...whatever you prefer) for 24 hours before refridgeration or freezing.

I have no idea of how this jam tastes...I'll let you know later. :)
