Man cannot live on IV alone

The night was long with beeping and buzzards in the room. Mom and Tessa slept ok through the night. Dr. Wells stopped by early this morning and he wants her to be drinking before he lets her go. She is staying hydrated by the IV but she is not a big fan of anything going into her mouth. He gets out of surgery at 3 and is going to be checking back with us then to see how she is taking fluids. Since then we have found a cocktail of oatmeal, honey, peanut butter and water that she seems to be taking to. Mom and Tess are sleeping now to try to catch up on lost sleep. Tessa's pain levels seem to be decreasing and she is showing some more spunk. Thank you again for your prayers and encouraging emails. They mean a lot to us.

Cruising the halls

Having fun in the playroom we found cruising the halls.

Checking out all the animals on the walls.

At least on drugs she'll leave her barrettes in her hair! :) I bet you're eager to get home.

She's such a trooper, so are you parents. You are all in my prayers that the Lord restores your energy and healing. Hugs...
