I've been looking and looking and looking on Craigslist for a wood kitchen set for Tessa for a good 6 months now. I saw this one and the price was right, the color was right, the accessories were right, the distance was right (thanks to Mark and Louie who drove down to Newport after work!)...anyway, the picture was right. THEN we got it home. This is where the hmmmm comes into play. This thing is huge! It takes up 1/2 our living room. We unloaded it and all the neighbor kids followed us into the house and started digging in to all the goodies. All Melissa & Doug food / plates / tray & plates & bowl / etc. Wow! We've got a treasure on our hands here...however, we have no room. I think we're going to sell the kitchen and just keep the food stuff. Too bad we don't have a basement...this kitchen would go great in a basement!

We got ours from Target - it's wood, red & blue in color (ie not too girly for a boy to use), and it wasn't too expensive (I'm thinking either 60 or 70?) since we found it on sale. It's lasted really well, and it's not too big Just FYI - watch the Target/Kmart & Biglots ads!
oohh! that looks like total fun!! Do you have room in your garage or maybe in the backyard?? I think it is to cute to get rid of! You should totally keep it!
